Remember...grades are earned...not given!!!

Homework Reminders

Students should expect to have 30-50 minutes of homework a night, except for Fridays. (There will be some exceptions to this, such as when the students have a project to work on, or are asked to study for an upcoming test).

Please remind them that every day an assignment is late, 10% will be deducted from their assignment grade. After an assignment is 2 days late, the student will receive a grade of "zero".

Students might also have other assignments for homework that they did not finish in class. Please check their planners for any additional assignments.

Week of January 9th:

Monday:

• Spelling: Packet due Friday
• Reading: Read "Prudy's Problem" (pgs 202-217)
• Math: Lesson 34
• Science: Flashcards due Friday
• Writing: Complete "I Have A Dream..." rough draft

Tuesday:

• Reading: Complete centers activities
• Spelling: Packet due Friday
• Math: Lesson 35
• Science: Flashcards due Friday
• Social Studies: Review pgs 108-111, complete worksheet

Wednesday: 

• Reading: Complete center activities, read pgs 202-217
• Spelling: Packet due Friday
• Math: Review for test, complete worksheet
• Science: Flashcards due Friday
• Social Studies: Definitions due February 2nd
• Writing: Complete "I Have a Dream..." (if not completed in class)
